BoB continued...

As promised pictures of the finished piece/ surface. Not the greatest of pictures due to the fact that I took them when the piece was already in a cardboard box ready to be dropped off at the Art Alliance.

BoB

I am participating in the second annual Battle of the Bowls (BoB) at the Philadephia Art Alliance. Each participant was given a plain ceramic bowl to transform.

Here is what mine looked like:

I first created a wire structure that replicates the bowl I received

I then spray painted the structure black

I am now in the process of the turning the original bowl into a powdery pulp and attaching it to the wire structure with caulk. Pictures of that soon!

The finished pieces will be auctioned off to benefit the PAA's exhibitions and programs. For more info click here!
